Last weekend, the members of our Bright Futures program for young mothers met for their last meeting of the year. They reflected on the year and distributed their savings accumulated over the year through their 52-week savings challenge.
Collectively, 27 members were able to save a total of 124,790 ($1,250 USD) with an average of 4,620 KSH ($46 USD) per group member. Being a part of a group kept the members accountable and motivated to stick to their savings plan for the year. Congratulations to the members on this achievement and thanks to everyone who has supported Bright Futures!
