Last week, our photography students had the chance to attend a two-day Word Press Photo Photography Training at PAWA 254. The training was led by renowned Kenyan photographers and covered topics such as telling your own story, the importance of citizen journalism, using photography to promote environmental conservation and bring awareness to important causes, and commercial photography.
The students also attended a World Press Photo exhibition in downtown Nairobi. It was a great learning experience for everyone and we are looking forward to seeing the students utilize what they learned in their future photographic endeavours.
