Together and with the help of many community-based organizations and initiatives, we have been able to sew and distribute 11,663 masks in Kibera and surrounding areas.
We have just increased our fundraising goal for our Covid-19 response to $15,000 to meet an increasing demand for masks and food support as the crisis continues into its second month in Kenya. We could really use your help to continue reaching out to community members to mitigate the impact of the virus in Kibera and Nairobi.
A big thank you to Project Kenya and everyone who has supported our response to Covid-19 so far.
