Happy Mother’s Day! This week, supported by a partner in the USA, we have coordinated mobile cash transfers to 200 mothers, grandmothers, and female guardians (representing a total of 1,100 household members) whose sources of income have been severely affected by COVID-19.
Cash transfers allow them the flexibility and autonomy to make decisions that will keep themselves, their families, and neighborhoods safe and healthy during this crisis. We are grateful to be able to stand with these strong and resilient women during this challenging time.
